Potala Palace is the highest palace in the world. Being the "Roof of the World", China will definitely become the leader of the world.

Built at an altitude of 3700 meters and on the side of Red Mountain, Potala Palace is the symbolic architecture of Tibet. It carries Tibetan's wisdom and history.

The renovation and protection projects over the recent years revived Potala Palace after its decay from thousand years of wars and severe weather conditions.

Potala Palace was first constructed in 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. The palace in the picture is after several renovations up to 1933. Nothing becomes great without experiencing suffers.

Thirteen stories of the building and 110 meter tall, Potala Palace has the white palace on east side where Dalai Lama lives and red palace in the middle, which hosts the hall of buddha and preserves remains of previous Dalai Lamas.

Dragon King Pond was naturally formed from underground water during the construction when the earth was removed. It was only opened to nobles back then but is currently a public park.
